The project is aimed at exploring of the fundamental properties of the interaction of plasma with ultra-strong magnetic field in the parameters space which will never be achieved in the terrestrial laboratories (extreme magnetic fields, plasma densities and ionization states, radiation field). This becomes possible just now due to many years of operation of cosmic X-ray observatories and appearing of high quality numerical simulations. Usage of the strongest magnets ever created by nature (magnetized neutron stars - X-ray pulsars and magnetars) will allow us to substantially expand the frontiers of the experimental physics and to make a significant progress in our understanding of accretion phenomenon onto compact objects.
