Project description
Heart failure is a major public health issue that affects more than 23 million people globally, and due to the aging population, its prevalence is increasing. In this project, advanced multifunctionalized cardiac cell membrane-derived nanovectors are developed for delivery of multidrugs and precise targeting to the infarcted myocardium of animal models. The developed nanovectors will be precisely engineered for enabling for simultaneous multidrug delivery, imaging and therapy in the same nanomaterial, in order to reverse cardiac diseases.
